Today I was writing about the Chateau d’Angers. I thought I would share a few pictures that I took while I was visiting this summer. Angers was one of my favorite places to visit.
For the Wars of the Roses enthusiast, Angers has a special link. It was here that Anne Neville and Prince Edward were betrothed in Saint-Maurice Cathedral. The short walk from the chateau to the cathedral takes you through the older part of the city. I recommend visiting – the city has so much to offer.
